Setup

  1. Extract the included BumpMapX3.exe file to a folder on your computer.
  2. Open Photo-Paint X3 and then run BumpMapX3.exe for the first time.

Usage

  1. Open an image in Photo-Paint X3.
  2. Run the BumpMapX3.exe file
    • You will be prompted to choose an image file.
  3. Choose an image to use as your Bump Map and click OK.
    • The Bump-Map effect dialog should automatically appear and should have the BumpMapX3 temp file set as the current image.
  4. Now, you can use the Bump-map effect as you would have in previous versions.
    • Avoid the temptation to select an image directly within the Bump-map dialog as the workaround will no longer be in effect.
