Extract the included CSB Script and EXE to a folder on your computer.

  1. Open the Batch Process dialog from within Photo-Paint as you would normally. Add the files you would like to process followed by any scripts you want to run. After all of your scripts have been added, add the BatchHelper last.

Because BatchHelper is a CSB file, you may not see it within the file dialog initially. Select "Script Binary Files" from the Files of type drop down box and it should appear.

  2. Set the "On Completion" option to "Don't save" and check the "Close file after batch process" check box. Now, run the batch as you would normally.

  3. After the first image has been processed, you will be presented with the BatchHelper dialog. This should be relatively straight forward. There are a few things to pay attention to:

    • If you want to use the same settings for every file, choose the appropriate radio button on the right.

    • If you choose to use the same settings each time, a second dialog box will pop-up (closeme.exe). It is important that you do not close this box until the batch is finished. Closing it will cause the batch to prompt you for new settings when the next file loads.

    • The "Prepend" and "Append" fields let you specify text to put at the front and end of the output file names. This is useful if you want to keep the original file name but add something such as "_thumb" at the end, before the file extension.
