Unveiled

the news breaks, breaking
heart strings shake, shaking
and the wind whispers you away

in the place of pain
that dull ache un-aching
numbness succumbs
in a freight train

I am taking the forever
faking calm and collected
casual smile

bitten lips spell bitterness
in blood red lines
that sing of finger tips
to shush away the silent words
