AntiPoetics - Poetry - awash

awash

fathoms a fashion
in a bucket of blue bliss
window washing wish
sponged across
this wind wound windshield
dripping dust and rust
dissolving oil
and streaking over tar
the surface scratched
and worn and faded
on this fragile, frail
iron sided hulk of a car
hand me down drowning frown
to shine just one last time
