Expired08/30/2006So... I've been cleaning up, going through boxes, and trying to organize random things that have been sitting here collecting dust. In the process of doing all of that, I've found some really interesting stuff. For instance, I found some children's books including several read-along Gremlin's books that are paired with 33 1/3 RPM record albums. Sweet. Yeah. I also found, get this, some Mentos that expired in 2004 and I'm eating them now. Yes, I'm probably going to die from it. It's really interesting though... the apple flavor ones taste a lot like cucumber. It's either that or I'm already hallucinating from the expired strawberry ones I ate earlier. Next up Lemon.

The Fall08/12/2006I've opened my windows to this 70-degree daydream. It's as if the heat and humidity took a break and I'm sneaking the cool fresh air while it lasts. For so many reasons, I'm a different person in autumn. I suppose it has everything to do with the weather... There's just something depressing in the constant heat and inescapable humidity that makes it impossible to think, for me anyway. I can't wait until the rain feels like ice. So... yeah...08/04/2006Somehow I managed to not finish that last post... Lauryn came over in the middle of it and now... whatever productive streak I had hit is long gone. I just talked to my friend Jen from long ago on AIM. Where are those days? Gone. Anyway... I went to see a few movies recently, Clerks II was worthwhile and entertaining and A Scanner Darkly was as good as I expected it to be. I don't know what else has happened. Randomness... or an ever-increasing predictability. However, I'm thinking I might make something... some sort of artistic random thing. (How fitting, eh?) I'm not sure what yet, but I'll post photos if I actually go through with it. It's August and I'm dying from the heat. I can only hope the Fall arrives before I dig a hole and burry myself in it under a large pile of ice cubes.
